By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

• Profile information: Username, handicap index, and profile photo if you choose to provide them.
• Golf and gameplay data: Scores, round history, course selections, game formats, wager amounts, and related statistics you enter during use of the app.
• Device and usage data: Device type, operating system, IP address, app version, and usage patterns collected automatically.
• Location data: General location data used to provide course information and weather features. We do not track precise location continuously.
• Communications: Messages or emails you send us, including support requests.
• Waitlist data: Email addresses submitted through our website waitlist form.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Calculate scores, handicaps, statistics, and round summaries
• Deliver features such as the Monday Morning Briefing, Course Reports, and AI Caddy recommendations
• Send transactional emails, including waitlist confirmations and account notifications
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you
• Monitor and analyze usage to improve performance and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With other users: Scores, leaderboards, and round results are visible to other players in your round and, where applicable, to friends you connect with in the app.
• Service providers: We use third-party providers (such as Firebase, Beehiiv, and payment processors) to operate the Service. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of TopStick Golf or others.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Financial Transactions and Wagers

TopStick Golf does not process, hold, or transfer money. The app functions solely as a scorecard and ledger to track friendly competition among users. Any financial settlement between users occurs outside the app via third-party services such as Venmo or Coinbase. We are not responsible for any financial transactions conducted between users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@topstickgolf.com.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
